We were Inspired by dry poppy - the penultimate stage of the poppy’s life cycle. Out of all the stages it has magnifying appearance and Its story behind. This project is about skin and its behaviour around skeleton, the ways of its presentation in 3D modelling and physical world. We identified the main principles behind each component and applied the best on the ensemble of table and chandelier.

During this project we were asked to develop a design of table and chandelier pair according to chosen natural precedent. Our team choose to work with the shape of poppy flower
School project with real client - series of benches for the Kosarichi village in Belarus. Our class was asked to design a series of benches which are unusual and, at the same time, can be produced locally (by Kosarichi citizens and out of materials available on sight, which is mostly wood from nearby forests or abandoned buildings)
Based on wood bending technique which is easy to perform, these benches are accessible for production in the village, are aesthetically pleasing and unusual enough to attract attention
